Art has always saved me. The point of departure for my work has been (and remains) my own experience, my own life - and by putting this material into a broader context - I confront stigma and injustice. Always choosing multi-media that can be widely disseminated, I am currently investigating how embodied trauma--when examined through the creative process--can become the fuel of personal and collective liberation.
