"I'm not yet conscious of what my art is aware of."
Theater takes place all the time, wherever one is, and art simply facilitates persuading one this is the case."

Throughout, and entwined with her art career, Romero has led art workshops for nuero-diverse adults who have been homeless; inner-city children in the NY Housing Authority and taught at NYU's experimental Advanced Learning Lab for teens on the Autistic spectrum. From these perspectives she observes how sustained involvement with the creative process can result in the metamorphosis of individual and collective suffering into the virtual power of creative becoming.
